Meet the Founder
Hi, I’m Aslı, founder of Higher Narrative.
I help organizations navigate AI, uncertainty, and social change through transformative foresight, narrative, governance, and capability-building.
I began my career as an engineer, training neural networks and building market simulations for energy trading. That work taught me that the future is not something we simply predict — it is something we question, and prepare for.
After studying sociology, I moved into digital media and marketing, where I found a practical meeting point between systems, culture, and human behavior. I co-founded Unboxed, a digital media and marketing agency, and have spent the past decade leading through technological and organizational change — where uncertainty is rarely theoretical and decisions have real consequences.
Higher Narrative grew out of that intersection. Today, I advise and facilitate leaders to design the present with long-term thinking: to make sense of change, surface assumptions, and build the shared language and decision-making conditions needed to act responsibly.
I also teach Global Marketing and write about human experience in the age of thinking machines. Across all of my work, I remain interested in a simple question: what does technology do to humans – and what do humans need from the technologies they build?
